Build. Test. Iterate. Repeat.

Altius Enterprises collaborates with leading software developers all over the world to build simple, elegant, highly scalable software applications. Our IT infrastructure is 100% cloud-based, and we utilize Agile software development and Lean Startup methodologies.

Build

The most powerful software applications are those which make the strongest impression with the fewest bells and whistles. When we design software applications, we keep the end goal in mind every step of the way, and any feature, button, or drop-down menu which does not directly help a user get from point A to point B, never makes the cut. We only work with developers who are proven experts in the lastest programming languages and frameworks, and our development mantra is 'Code as Clean as Content'.

Test

We have developed enough software to know you never get it right the first go-round. So we adopted Agile software development practices a long time ago. The only way to make meaningful, positive changes to software applications is to learn by watching users interact directly with your software. The sooner you can get your applications in front of potential users, the sooner you can iterate and adapt your software until you have a simple, elegant, and effective product that will stand the test of time.

Iterate

The only step more important than Building and Testing new software is the Iteration process. Iteration is to software development what editing is to film productions. Iteration is the art of learning what to keep and what to cut, based on the hard data you collected in the testing process, of course. This is the stage of development which requires the most experience and finesse. But the most important part of the iteration process is to understand that you are never really done. As long as our customers use our software, we'll continue to make it better.

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any other invention in human history, with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.
